Shark Key

Shark Key is a very private, very exclusive gated community of top of the line homes.  Every home on Shark Key is direct open water with either Sunrise or Sunset views.  Some of the homes offer both.  The lot sizes will start around ½ acre with some boasting well over a full acre.  The grounds are pristine, the landscaping is tropical and the private beach is ever so inviting.  The lower end of Shark Key will start around $2M and some run up well above $5M.  Most of the homes on Shark Key are second and third homes primarily used as vacation homes.

Shark Key is an island in the lower Florida Keys about 7 miles east of Key West.
It is located north of, and connected to, U.S. Route 1 (or the Overseas Highway) at approximately mile marker 11.5, between the Saddlebunch Keys and Big Coppitt Key. It is part of the census-designated place of Big Coppitt Key, Florida.
It's earlier name was Stark Key.
