Solares Hill

Solares Hill, a section of Old Town, is best known for being the highest point above sea level on the island of Key West.  When living on an island that can be a big asset.  Most of the homes on Solares Hill are in “The X Flood Zone” which means you are not required to hold flood insurance to keep a mortgage.  This keeps you in desirable Old Town Key West while saving money and having the piece of mind that comes with being about 14 feet above sea level.  Parking can be difficult on Solaris Hill an it is anywhere in Old Town.
The cemetery is in the middle of the Solares Hill area--it is bordered by Frances st--Truman Ave--Angela st and Elizabeth.
