Key West Sunset Key
The name Sunset Key comes from the spectacular sunsets the island residents enjoy looking west with an unobstructed view into the wide open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Some of the world’s most spectacular sunsets take place right here.
You’ll also see a ferry shuttle jetting across the water to the island’s ferry dock and back. This service is offered 24 hours a day and is only a 10 minute ride.
Sunset Key Homes
The private residential homes on Sunset Key range from $1.7 million
to $3 million. They are built with a Key West architecture style
similar to a Victorian style home. The homes and island have
all the modern utilities needed including fiber optic cables,
cable vision, water, and sewage lines that run underwater protected
by rock and concrete barriers.
Sunset Key Amenities
Besides the white sandy beaches, spectacular sunsets, and crystal
clear blue waters, Sunset Key has a marina, tennis courts, pool,
golf carts and bicycles to cruise around on the brick paved roadways.
The Latitudes Beach Cafe offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an upscale yet casual beachfront restaurant and full bar offering continental and island cuisine. You can order groceries and other shipments for delivery to Sunset’s ferry dock. Just jump on your bike or golf cart to pick up your supplies.
Sunset Key Cottage Rentals
1, 2, or 3 bedroom cottages with ocean views or garden views are
available for rent. Each cottage has a living room, dining area,
and fully equipped kitchen that is pre-stocked with food and
beverages. A complimentary breakfast basket is delivered every
morning to your cottage which you can enjoy while sitting in
an Adirondack chair on the wrap around veranda.
The 1 bedroom cottages rate start at $595 a night. A 3 bedroom oceanfront cottage ranges from $1,025 to $2,225 a night depending on season. The cottages are a Westin Resort property.
